Who are we?

Image of Dancers

We are a folk dance club that meet in Ealing and do mainly traditional English folk dancing. The dances range from lively dances that would have been danced at English village celebrations years ago, like the kind you might have done at an English Barn Dance, to the elegant ones you may have seen in Pride and Prejudice and other costume dramas.

What is folk dancing?

This is a form of social dancing, so you do not need to bring a partner; it is open to all, men, women, singles and couples. It does not matter whether you are a beginner, improver or experienced folk dancer, as all dances all called and walked through. After learning a few basic movements you will be able to perform variety of dances.
